The partners of Harold Bell Infields & Co. believe that good service can only be provided by a combination of good staff and modern technology. Always leaders in investing in computer and up to date equipment, we do believe that the ‘tail should not wag the dog’. Thus we have sound and well trained staff to assist us in our clients business, who use the technological aids to help them. Most of our staff have been with us for many years.

Partner
Admitted in 1978, Malcolm became a partner in Harold Bell & Co as soon as he was qualified. Later Malcolm became a sole practitioner. In 1993 Tracy Poolman became a Partner to Malcolm’s great relief and the continued benefit of the practice. Martyn Dixon joined as a partner in 2014, and all three joined Roger Newhall in 2016 to become Harold Bell Infields & Co. Amanda Duffield has now joined as a Partner and Roger has retired.
Malcolm has commercial experience from articles in London and considerable general experience in practice in Ewell. He deals mainly with residential and commercial conveyancing (including business sales and purchases). He also tackles severance agreements.
Malcolm is married with three children, and an increasing number of grandchildren, and lives in Sussex. He is interested in cars, golf, photography, flying and travel. None of them sufficiently indulged.
In the past year Malcolm works shorter hours, job sharing with Tracy. Between them all their clients are clients of both of them.

Tracy joined Harold Bell & Co as an assistant in 1990 and became a partner in 1993 having had a wide experience in articles and having been a partner in another firm for a number of years following her qualification as a Solicitor in 1983. Tracy specialises in conveyancing, job sharing with Malcolm. Tracy also has considerable experience with matrimonial and family law cases having previously practiced in this area for over 40 years. Tracy is trained in Collaborative Practice, and she is a qualified and practicing Notary Public a qualification which she has held since 1994.
Tracy has three grown up children and lives in Surrey.
Partner
Martyn is Head of the Private Client department across the firm. He became a partner in Harold Bell & Co on 1 May 2014, having made a huge contribution to it since he joined in 2007. Martyn qualified as a Solicitor in February 2006. During his training contract he particularly enjoyed Wills and Probate and decided he wanted to expand his practice in this area. Since 2007 Martyn has worked exclusively in the Private Client field. Martyn deals with all aspects of probate work as well as wills, powers of attorney and trust and management. He is happy to discuss any of this when you contact him. Martyn’s supervisor is Malcolm Bell.
Martyn’s interests include running, rugby, listening to music and cooking.
Martyn is married with 2 Children and lives in West Sussex.

Amanda is a partner at Harold Bell Infields & Co and heads up our Hampton Wick office. She qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and joined Harold Bell Infields & Co in 2022. Amanda is an experienced property lawyer handling all aspects of residential and commercial transactions, and is supervised by Malcolm Bell and Tracy Poolman. Known for her efficiency and firm approach, Amanda provides clear, pragmatic advice, ensuring clients feel supported and confident at every stage. Whether navigating complex commercial leases, high-value sales, or first-time purchases, she guides clients calmly and decisively through the process, anticipating challenges and resolving issues swiftly. Her straightforward, results-driven approach has earned her a strong reputation among buyers, sellers, landlords, and developers alike. She understands the pressures of property transactions and works diligently to keep matters on track, balancing legal precision with a focus on practical solutions.
Amanda lives in Surbiton and enjoys cycling and running in the Royal Parks and making an effort to visit as many of the excellent local pubs and restaurants as she can.

Solicitor
Rizwan joined Harold Bell Infields & Co in 2017 and covers Residential Conveyancing including buying and selling of residential property, Lease Extensions, Shared Ownership, Right to Buy, Help to Buy, Buy to Let. Rizwan is supervised by Amanda Duffield.
Solicitor
Pam qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and has since amassed experience in various disciplines in law. Having joined the firm in 2019 she now heads the Wills & Probate Department at the Hampton Wick branch. Pam is always on hands to take enquiries from clients who may need the firm’s services to deal with Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Administration of Estates, as well as general private client matters. Pam is supervised by Martyn Dixon.
Solicitor
Lauren qualified in 2019 and joined Harold Bell Infields & Co in 2024 to take over the matrimonial department. She is supervised by Tracy Poolman. Lauren has worked exclusively in Family Law since qualification and has accumulated a wide range of experience having worked in both high-street and regional law firms in Surrey and Greater London. She has experience in dealing with a wealth of different family law matters, from divorce and finances, to children related issues, to pre-nuptial agreements and co-habitation and her practice comprises of the full spectrum of private family law matters. Lauren is currently training to become a family mediator.
Lauren is a member of Resolution, a national organisation for family law professionals, and promotes a constructive and practical approach to family issues, working with clients to secure the best possible outcomes. Lauren takes a pragmatic approach to her cases and gives clear and realistic advice to her clients – promoting settlement via negotiation or mediation where possible, but she will equally recommend alternative routes such as applying to Court when necessary. Lauren prides herself on being professional yet approachable and compassionate, building good relationships with her clients as she understands the often emotional nature of family law cases, Lauren regularly receives feedback from her clients that they feel a lot calmer and more positive about their matters and the future once they have spoken with her. Clients often recommend her to friends and family.
Outside of work Lauren enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Wenesa obtained her LPC LLM from the University of Law in 2018. She completed her training contract at a boutique law firm where her primary focus was on residential and commercial conveyancing, and Wenesa qualified as a Solicitor in 2020. She joined Harold Bell Infields & Co at the Ewell office in 2022 where she deals with all aspects of both residential and commercial conveyancing including the sale and purchase of both freehold and leasehold property, lease extensions, new build, help to buy and commercial leases. Wenesa is supervised by Malcolm Bell and Tracy Poolman.
Solicitor
Sophie qualified as a solicitor in October 2024 and joined Harold Bell Infields & Co in the November, having been working within Private Client law since October 2021. Sophie particularly enjoyed learning about Wills and Probate during her studies for her Legal Practice Course and knew that this was the area she wanted to qualify into. Sophie is a solicitor in our Private Client department and deals with Will writing, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the administration of estates and is supervised by Martyn Dixon.
Sophie lives in Surrey and outside of work enjoys spending time with her many pets, reading, gardening, beekeeping and volunteering with the British Hen Welfare Trust.
Paralegal
Nathan is a member of our Private Client department. He joined Harold Bell Infields & Co as a paralegal in 2022 and his supervising partner is Martyn Dixon. He has been building his experience within Private Client since 2018 and primarily deals with Will writing, Lasting Power of Attorney and the administration of estates.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his young family and participating in sports. He is a player-manager of a Sunday football team and likes to attend his local gym.
